Proxmox Setup

Well, I finished most of my setup for proxmox today.  Several windows10 containers plus kali and parrot.  I created a lxc container for wazuh but I don't have wazuh installed yet.  I did get windows server 2022 installed and configured as a DC.  I think I will try CISO setup again on a vm in proxmox later this week.  I need to watch resources though, right now it is at 54% for ram and averaging around 10 - 15% for cpu.  I need to get my red team lab moved from my laptop to this box soon so I can really play.  Laptop is really old and only has 16 gigs of ram.  I kind of need to use it during the day and can't have 3 vm's spun up on it running.  Maybe next week if all goes well.

Makes no sense!

I have been working on and off with getting CISO Assistant to run on my server and it is a no go!  I will have to take a different route, I think.  At least it is running on my windows laptop and I am able to use it this week.  I also woke up late today, ugh!  What a way to start out Tuesday.  I am not able to adjust to this change in daylight saving.  Not sure if this was an issue last year but I need to start setting an alarm in the morning until I adjust.

I will work on my Proxmox server today getting windows server 2022 installed and get a couple of windows10 instances installed too!  Maybe get metasploit spun up as well!  Let's see whaer the day take me!

CISO Assistant

Wow

I have got to do better with my troubleshooting, lol!  I wasted all this time to come and find out all I had to do to get this software installed was run the commands manually.  Live and learn, I guess.  At least I got it installed on my laptop in docker.  Now I will try my server again and see if I have better luck.  I was going and try porting over the one from my laptop to the server, but I have had enough excitement for today.  Now I have 3 hours of videos to watch and tomorrow I start back with the TryHackMe modules.  I have been slacking on those at of late.

Tired today

Wow, I am tired today.  woke up late this morning for the first time in a couple of months but it is what it is, I guess.  I have a lot to do today.  Playing around with docker desktop on my windows10 system.  It has been a while since I have used it but it is coming back to me now.  I need to also work on my proxmox box and get some containers spun up on it.  I have windows10 and ubuntu but want to get windows server 2022 and windows server 2025 installed.  Need to work on the CISO Assistant install after watching the demo by the engineer Abder today.  I will need to probably watch his video a couple more times to see if the "ah ha" moment hits me, lol!  He brain dumped a lot this morning and I don't want to just memorize it I want to understand it too!  will I get it done this weekend, probably not but I have a 2-week cutoff date for getting it installed and being able to work in it.  Sometimes knowledge hurts my brain, lol!
