Server Maintenance

I have been doing server maintenance for the last couple of weeks, and I think I actually fixed my Wallabag issue with an update.  Unfortunately, due to a possible networking issue with Twingate I lost access to the console for my Proxmox server.  This forced me to reboot both my laptop and the Proxmox server running Wallabag.  I did not have to log back into Wallabag and everything just worked.  I did make sure to backup the wallabag elements before I did the reboot so i wasn't too worried, but I did not have to, thank goodness.  I have to update my Proxmox server from version 8 to 9 before the 31^st of August.  I have two options.  Run the update for updating to 8 to 9 or wipe 8 off the server and install 9 from scratch.  I have my backups for restoring my LXC's and VM's, but there is always a possibility of something going wrong.  I am going to have to "man up" and do it in the next 30 days.  Crossings my fingers!

Long Day!

Crazy day!  I have been working on side projects for my computer and it kind of sucks.  I had an issue with Jellyfin that I kind of got fixed.  I had to reset my password which is going to create a nightmare getting all my devices that were using the old one updated.  I thought that since I did a backdoor way to get into all my devices   I would be okay.  You see I have not been using the password for the last 5 years more or less.  I was just using the quick connect feature in jellyfin to login to my other devices using the one device I was logged into with the correct password.  It is what it is I guess!  Well, I got the password changed, checked it on my laptop and it is working.  I created a couple more accounts and did a little house cleaning in Jellyfin.  Not all my tv devices that have the old password will have to be updated, lol!  Oh well!

Also having an issue with Navidrome!  For some reason, it did not store my accounts I had created in it a couple of months ago.  I am almost positive I checked them before I closed out of that app but here we are now.  Online is saying I did not create my admin account correctly, which is probably causing the problem.  I will work on that in the morning and see if I can get it installed on the dell server in proxmox.  Right now it is running as a docker on the mini pc.

Hosting LLM's is a heavy lift!

It has been a interesting weekend.  fireworks both inside and outside my house, lol!  I was able to get Open WebUI and Ollama installed on my server but it is running crazy slow due to no GPU support.  It is taking a crazy amount of time to run basic queries which kind of suck.  I am playing with the configuration to see if I can get some working better without employing a gpu but I think I might have to go with Nomad setup from Crosstalk Solutions verses what I am using now.  I did not think it would be this hard, but it is what it is, I guess!

Open WebUI

Okay

I have been working on getting open webui setup in my environment.  I hope to get it done today.  I have done the reading now I am ready to roll it out.  I have been envisioning several scenarios for using it in my daily workflow.  I got this!!!!!! LOL
