Computers

I have been working on this computer for the last 8 months now and I am finally done with it.  When a computer gets so old you have issues getting Linux install it is time to upgrade but I was able to get Linux to install so it has a new life now.  Now I just need to do a burn in and get one piece of software installed and it is finish.

The person that owns this computer owes me big time.  Now what to ask for all my work.  Um!!!!!!!  LOL

Do over!

Well a couple of days ago I lost my printer access when my print server went down hard.  I was using Server 2012 on borrowed time and it was past due so I could not go with it again.  I had to be good and not install a illegal version of windows but I need an os that I can print to from my laptop and computers in my house.

In comes Linux and after 2 days with the help of Google print I have a printer I can print to from any device that Google chrome.  That means my phones and tablets.  Very , very nice!

Now I need to get file share setup on this box and I will be good.  I need to learn Linux and now I have my chance.  I also need to learn Spanish but that is another hurdle to clear.

I am really liking Google print.  Again very nice!

Irony

My back stops hurting Saturday afternoon and I just sat around and rested this weekend but now Sunday evening before I go to sleep it starts hurting again.  The good thing at least I know it wasn't about screwing up things on Friday but I could really go without the back ache.  Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Laptop Reload part 1

After reloading a laptop for a friend with Windows 10 now I want to do my laptop again but I need to upgrade the ram in mines first.  I have to get the memory upgrade done soon.  I might do the reload soon even without the memory upgrade.

Movie

I want to go to a movie tonight but my back still hurts granted it is not as gad as yesterday but I am not 100%.  Why now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Superbowl Is tomorrow

Well the Superbowl is on tomorrow and I am trying to get ready  Not sure who I am going with as far as team.  The Broncos have Peyton but the Panthers are possibly the better team.  Decisions, decisions.

Windows Tablet

Well I was able after several attempts to get Windows 10 installed on my personal tablet.  I don't think 16 gigs will be enough.  I will not go short on hard drive size again.

Soleus Reset

After not checking my Soleus tracking for the last 2 months I noticed a couple of weeks ago it was not running bluetooth.  It took me a while to figure out how to turn it back on and even more to get it paired to my phone again but all is good now.

Snapchat Lesson Learned

Snapchat goes a lot easier when you use an iPhone verses an Android phone.

Work in the new year

I so do not want to go to work tomorrow but I guess I have to start some time.  It was nice to have the time off.  Oh well I have to pay the mortgage.
